"BEST OF THE 80's" - A Compilation of the Most Popular Music Video's Ever Played on MTV in the 80's..

MTV, headquartered in New York City. launched on August 1, 1981. During that time, I was known as DJ Tanner & I collected just about every hit that came out to play in clubs and live on the radio. I have created a channel here that contains over 500 of the most popular hits played on MTV through out the 80's. Some of these video's are not MTV's but for the most part I tried to find the ones that did play on MTV. A lot of video's are hard to find, especially in good quality. I added video's from other sources that were also popular during that time period. You will see a mix of Rock, Pop, New-Wave and R&B.
